POSITIONS WITH CLINICAL SERVICES
RN OR LPN – FT
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled
and highly technical direct patient care and supportive services
to the patient/family unit. The care and services provided
follow the individualized patient/family care plan developed
by the Interdisciplinary Team. He/she reports to the Team
Coordinator concerning the maintenance of palliation.
LPN – FT
The Licensed Practical Nurse shall provide selected nursing
care including the administration of treatments and medications
to the patient under the direction of a registered nurse.
POSITIONS
WITH COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS
WRITER - FT
Responsibilites:
• Writing all forms of internal and external communications
materials, from advertisements and direct mail, to flyers,
brochures, press releases, correspondence, and website copy.
• Handling writing projects from concept through distribution
• Prioritizing projects and workload, and meeting scheduled
deadlines
• Proofreading projects
• Collaborating with in-house clients; graphic designers
and other members of the communications team; and outside
vendors and media
• Maintaining lists of media contacts and updating listings
in various publications.

WITH FOCUS CARE
RN— PER DIEM
The registered nurse is responsible for providing skilled
and highly technical direct client care and supportive services
to the client/family unit. The care and services provided
follow the individualized client /family care plan developed
by the Interdisciplinary Team. He/she reports to the Director
of Nursing concerning the client's condition.
RN— FT
The registered nurse is responsible for providing skilled
and highly technical direct client care and supportive services
to the client/family unit. The care and services provided
follow the individualized client /family care plan developed
by the Interdisciplinary Team. He/she reports to the Director
of Nursing concerning the client's condition.
POSITIONS
WITH FUND DEVELOPMENT
DIRECTOR OF FUND DEVELOPMENT - FT
The Director of Fund Development is responsible for developing
and implementing a comprehensive fund-raising plan, including
outreach programs, direct mail campaign, major gift program,
and other campaigns as determined to reach ambitious but achievable
organizational goals. S/he will identify and engage potential
new donors. This position is responsible for directing, implementing
and administrating all fund development programs and reporting
financial outcomes to administration.
POSITIONS
WITH HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT
HIM – TECHNICIAN I – PT
20 Hours
The HIM Technician I is an active, accurate, self-motivated
individual. He/she supports the HIM staff by assembling and
filing loose paperwork in the records. He/she must be able
to follow verbal and written instructions.
HIM – AUDITOR/DATA
ENTRY – CARE CENTER –FT
8:30AM – 5:00PM AND EVERY OTHER SATURDAY
The Auditor/Data Entry is a self motivated, detail –oriented
person. He/she provides support to the patient care staff
by performing Health Information Department audits on patient
records, data entry, word processing and other computer services.
The Auditor/Data Entry person follows the established HBTS
Health Information Procedures and reports areas of concern
to appropriate staff for follow-up. The Auditor/Data Entry
person will also provide assistance to other members of the
Health Information Department.

WITH HOSPICE STAFFING SERVICES
LPN - PER DIEM
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing
skilled nursing care to both hospice home and facility clients
under the direction of a registered nurse. The care and services
provided follow the written plan of care developed by the
Interdisciplinary Team.
CNA/HHA –
PER DIEM
The Certified Nursing Assistant is a licensed person with
training in supportive healthcare services. He/she provides
services that are ordered by the physician in the plan of
care and that the Certified Nursing Assistant is permitted
to perform under state law. The duties of the Certified Nursing
Assistant include the provision for hands-on personal care,
assistance with activities of daily living and to offer simple
emotional support to clients receiving Hospice services in
a private home residence.

WITH MEMORIAL REGIONAL SOUTH – INPATIENT UNIT
LPN – FT – (NIGHTS)
The Licensed Practical Nurse shall provide selected nursing
care including the administration of treatments and medications
to the client under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

WITH PALLIATIVE CARE
PSYCHOSOCIAL COUNSELOR – PER DIEM
The Psychosocial Counselor is responsible and accountable
for the delivery of skilled professional psychosocial care
to palliative care patient/family unit based on recognized
standards of practice. Focus of care may include quality of
life issues, ego supportive intervention, advocacy, facilitation,
empowerment, crisis intervention, education & self management,
provision of community/government resource information, and
grief counseling.
SPIRITUAL CARE
COUNSELOR - FT
The Spiritual Counselor is responsible and accountable for
the delivery of skilled professional spiritual care and supportive
services to the palliative care patient/family unit based
on recognized standards of practice. The focus of care is
a spiritual companioning/spiritual direction model and may
include quality of life issues, meaning of life issues, spiritual
supportive intervention, advocacy, facilitation, empowerment,
crisis intervention, education & self management, spiritual
referral, and grief counseling.

WITH QUALITY MANAGEMENT
QI SPECIALIST – FT
The Quality Improvement Specialist is responsible for assisting
the agency maintaining compliance with JCAHO, Medicare and
other regulatory bodies.
