Thrift Shop

Since its inception in 1988, the Hospice by the Sea Chest Thrift Shop has evolved into one of Hospice by the Sea's most important fundraising endeavors. Profits from the sale of donated items go directly to patient care and Camp Good Grief, our weekend bereavement camp for children.

Monday-Saturday: 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Directions
From I-95 or the Florida Turnpike, take Glades Road and head east. Turn left on Dixie Highway (Rte. 811), then left on N.W. 20th Street to Plum Park Plaza.

Donations are important
Donations of clean, saleable merchandise are always needed and most welcome. Items may be dropped off at the shop during regular hours of operation. Hospice by the Sea offers free pick up of saleable merchandise. To schedule a pick-up time, please call (561) 338-4030

Upon request, receipts are provided for tax deduction purposes. Pick-ups for large items can be arranged by calling the shop during regular business hours at 561-338-4030.

Volunteers make it work
The Sea Chest is dependent on volunteers who handle the pricing, sorting and sale of merchandise.

Volunteers assist staff by displaying quality merchandise, assisting customers, pricing items, and assisting the cashier.
